Opportunities - Research Series Neurobiologist THE DEPARTMENT OF ORTHOPAEDIC SURGERY The Department of Orthopedic Surgery is offering a tenured position at the level of Associate or Full Professor. This exceptional candidate should be a Neurobiologist with a strong track record in spinal cord injury research and an established funding and publication history. The candidate will also serve as a member of the Reeve-Irvine Research Center. It is expected that this candidate would be a qualified teacher and lecturer with interest and experience in collaborative research involving clinicians. The applicant should have an MD, PhD or MD/PhD. Salary is highly competitive, and rank will be commensurate with experience. Dr. Nitin Bhatia and Dr. Thay Lee were presented with the prestigious "Harold and Nancy Willingham Award for Outstanding Research Paper" at the meeting of the Western Orthopaedic Association this year. Drs. Bhatia and Lee presented their paper, entitled "Biomechanical Evaluation of Short-Segment Posterior Instrumentation with Crosslinks In An Unstable Human Burst Fracture Model". The WOA, with more than 1,700 members, held it's 73rd annual meeting
